Evolution of home TV and stereo
The stereo console (or "stereo console", as it is sometimes called) is a stereo system that contains audio components (such as stereo note modifiers and stereo FM radio) placed into the cabinet, as it is popular in the year 1960s and entered the 1970s. Stereo console (as identified by one manufacturer of that period, Delmonico/Nivico ) is a smaller, more compact stereo console that often stands with outstretched legs. The corresponding term for the console in English English is radiogram .
During the 1970s, some stereo manufacturers began designing a more luxurious and striking system to coincide with the psychedelic era and disco of the decade. As happens when the New York stereo manufacturer Morse-Electro Products produces some of their units with a built-in light organ display. The multicolored lights on the screen will reflect to the rhythm of the music being played on the system.
The stereo console will eventually be replaced by a high-fidelity stereo system with separate speakers (sometimes called "rack systems") in the late 1970s, which offer a much higher performance without being attached to furniture or tied to one brand of equipment. Some of these systems have speakers with removable covers, showing woofers and tweeters. The production of these systems continued throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s, until smaller units of desks or tables (such as the Bose Wave System) began to dominate.
A television console is a television set placed in a cabinet in the same way as a stereo console. Console television production lasted longer than the stereo console, with units produced during the 1980s and into the 1990s before being replaced by flat-screen televisions.

Home entertainment centers may be attached to fidelity speakers or quadraphonic speakers. In the 2000s, the best sound system was designed for home theater and movie sound. This usually includes more than just the left and right stereo channels. Television and VHS typically encode additional channels into two main channels, while digital mode encodes this information into digital DVD source data, with center, two rear, and subwoofer speakers. The difficulty is usually in cabling and placing the rear speakers and the necessity of buying a receiver that can decode the sound. Because the size of the video monitor has increased, rather than having a 20-inch TV surrounded by large stereo equipment, it is common to have a very large projection or flat screen with a small, integrated DVD/receiver player as well as a satellite or digital cable receiver underneath, with speakers small distance and medium-sized subwoofer.
Audio and video components have special connectors that are often linked to special boxes. The item is then plugged into an electrical socket strip, which should have a surge protector. Each component usually has its own remote control, although expensive universal remote controls are available that can be learned or programmed with the most common equipment.
The term "home entertainment center" can also refer to the complete package - the electronic components and the unit in which they are placed. These units are often cabinets or self-contained units (usually wood and glass); they often contain special areas (either drawers or other spaces) for record keeping, videocassettes, CDs and/or DVDs.
In many homes, entertainment centers are often placed in the living room, family room, recreation room, or bedroom. Perhaps the first example of a built-in entertainment center was created by Frank Lloyd Wright at his 1917 Hollyhock House in Los Angeles, California. Special cabinets and speakers can be built or added to existing homes at the expense of free-standing furniture, and video and/or audio signals transferred wirelessly to other rooms at home with special cables, or through a local area network..
The term "home entertainment center" was widely used in the 1980s. This was replaced by a home theater system for large rooms. While previous high fidelity requires large turntables, tape decks and speakers, the musical format change technology has created a small bookcase system, Bose desktop radio and an iPod-based speaker system that can also produce high quality music and function as a music entertainment system by making large systems component again high-end niche market.
