In baseball, game three (denoted as TP in baseball statistics) is a rare act of making three numbers during the same continuous game.
Triple drama is rare - there are 716 triple play in Major League Baseball (MLB) since 1876, averaging about five per season - because they rely on a combination of two elements, which are also rare:
- Firstly, there should be at least two baseruns, and no subtleties. From the analysis of all the 2011-2013 MLB games, only 1.51% of the bats occur in such a scenario. In comparison, 27.06% of bats occur with at least one basperner and less than two numbers, a scenario in which multiple games are possible.
- Secondly, activity must occur during a game that allows the defense to make three out points. Common events - such as dough attacking, or hitting a flying ball - usually do not provide an opportunity for triple games. A ball hit sharply and directly into the infielder, which then takes very quick action - or unusual actions, confusion, or mistakes by the pioneers - usually necessary.

The most likely scenario for playing triple is no runners with runners in first base and second base, which has been the case for most MLB triple play. In that context, two examples of triple play are:
- dough hits the ground ball into the third baseman, which stomps on the third base to force out the runner coming from the second (first exit). The third baseman threw into the second baseman, who stepped on the second base to force out the runner coming from first (second out). The second baseman throws into the first baseman, with the throws arriving in time to force out the dough (the third comes out). This is an example of grounding to a 5-4-3 triple game, as per standard baseball positions.

- During the 1973 season, the Baltimore Orioles third base of Brooks Robinson started two triple games 5-4-3; one on July 7 against Oakland Athletics, and one on Sept. 20 against the Detroit Tigers.
- On July 17, 1990, the Minnesota Twins became the first team (and to date, the only) in MLB history to change two triple plays in the same game. Both played 5-4-3 triplets, executed by field players Gary Gaetti, Al Newman, and Kent Hrbek in a match against the Boston Red Sox.
- Brooks Robinson is the all-time MLB leader to play three innings, with four in his career.
- The pioneers start running in an attempt to steal or execute a hit and run game, and batter hits the drive line into the second baseman, who catches it (first out). The second baseman throws into the shortstop, which stomps the second base before the runner who starts there can tag (both out). Shortstop throws to the first baseman, which stomps first base before the runner who starts there can tag (the third runs out). This is an example of placing into a triple game 4-6-3.

Play the latest triple MLB
The latest triple play in MLB was changed by the Seattle Mariners on April 19, 2018, against the Houston Astros above the fourth inning. With the first and second runners, the dough of Evan Gattis, hit the sharp grounders to the third, where Kyle Seager lowered the ball, stepped on the third for the first exit and then threw the ball into Robinson CanÃÆ'³ who stepped on a second. CanÃÆ'³ did not immediately throw the ball into first base, but threw into Dan Vogelbach's first baseman after seeing Gattis running toward the center of the diamond. Vogelbach marks Gattis to complete the triple play.

Triple play without help
The rarest type of triple game, and one of the rarest events of any kind in baseball, is for a single fielder to complete all three jumps. There are only 15 dramas without players in MLB history, making this achievement more rare than the perfect game.
Typically, unattached triple play is achieved when the infielder is capturing the drive line near the second base (first out), the steps on the base before the runner who starts there can tag (both out), and then mark the runner from first before he can go back there (third). Of the 15 unrelieved dramas in MLB history, 12 have been completed in this way by the middle infielder.
Play triple without the latest MLB brand
MLB without the latest triple play is consistent with the above - it happened on August 23, 2009, by Eman Bruntlett's second baseman from Philadelphia Phillies, in a game against the New York Mets. At the bottom of the ninth inning with the guys at first and second, Jeff Francoeur hit the drive line very close to the second base, which covered Bruntlett in response to the running baserun. Bruntlett catches the ball (first out), stomps on both before Luis Castillo can tag (both out), and then marks Daniel Murphy's approaching from first (third out). This is just the second game that ended unaided in MLB history, the first of which occurred in 1927.
Play triple not working
Political columnist and baseball fan, George Will, proposed a hypothetical way that a triple game could happen without a fielder touching the ball. With the first and second runners and without a pitcher, the dough hit the fly, and automatically came out: one came out. The runner from the first passes the runner from the second and is called for the offense: two numbers come out. Right after that, the ball fell hits the runner from the second, who was called for a nuisance: three figures.
Whenever the dough or runner comes out without a fielder touching the ball, the MLB 10.09 rule book section provides automatic putouts to be assigned by the official goalscorer. In this case, the first will be credited to anyone who is trusted by the official scorers will have the best chance to catch a fly. The second and third exits will be credited to the nearest fielder (s) to the runner's point, when each exit occurs. Under the scenario described above, the same fielder (shortstop, for example) can be credited with all three putouts, so reach the triple play without help without touching the ball.
