Bullet Club ( ??????? , Barettokurabu ) , sometimes shortened to BC , is a professional wrestling group, especially appearing in the Japan New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) promotion. In the United States, this group appears mainly in the Ring of Honor (ROH).
The group was formed in May 2013, when the Irish wrestler Prince Devitt activated his partner Ryusuke Taguchi and came with American wrestler Karl Anderson and the Tonga wrestlers Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga to form the evil aliens whom they named the "Bullets" Club. Prior to the end of the year, the stability was also followed by three other Americans: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) and Doc Gallows The wrestler from Mexico's Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion also worked the NJPW tour as a member of the Bullet Club led to the formation of a branch group called Bullet Club Latinoamerica at CMLL in October 2013. By the end of 2013, Bullet Club held IWGP Junior Heavyweight and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships, while also conquering three of the five annual NJPW tournaments. Devitt's career, a long-time fan favorite, started his ascent out of the junior heavyweight division d an into the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
In April 2014, Devitt left NJPW and was replaced at the Bullet Club by the American wrestler A.J. Styles. The following month, Bullet Club received its first Japanese member, when Yujiro Takahashi joined and helped the Styles win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. In the following June, members of Bullet Club also won the IWGP Intercontinental and NEVER Openweight Championships, meaning that now all NJPW titles have to be offered. When NJPW added the seventh title, the 6-Man Tag Team Championship EVER, in early 2016, and the eighth title, the IWGP United States Championship, in July 2017, the Bullet Club quickly won it as well. To date, they are one of two cages (the other is Chaos) to win every championship available at NJPW. They also hold every championship that is currently active in the Spirit (World, TV, World Tag Team and Six-Man). Stable continues to add members, notably Canadian wrestler Kenny Omega, who took over his leadership in early 2016, when Styles, Anderson and Gallows all left NJPW for WWE.

The Bullet Club was conceived by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) in early 2013, following a positive fan response to the storyline, where Prince Devitt activated his long-term tag team partner Ryusuke Taguchi to form a malicious partnership with Bad Luck Fale. Initially, Devitt and Fale are scheduled to continue as duo, but the storyline is changed with them instead coming together with Karl Anderson and Tama Tonga to form all-stable gaijin. Devitt came up with the name Bullet Club, which refers to his finger movements and the nickname "Sniper" and Anderson's nickname, "Machine Rifle". In group naming, Devitt has stated that he specifically does not want the word "the" in front of a name or name consisting of only three letters. Other names considered for the group include "Bullet Parade" and "Bullet League". In May 2016, the trademark Bullet Club is owned by NJPW. Behind the scenes, the four founding members of Bullet Club are good friends and travel partners.
This group has been compared with the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) stable New World Order (nWo). As a way of paying homage to the nWo, members of Bullet Club start using the "Too Sweet" signature of stable hand movements. The movement, also known as the "Turkish Wolves", should have been used by Anderson and Devitt behind the scenes since 2006. In March 2015, WWE filed a trademark application for hand gestures. Some, including Matt and Nick Jackson, suggest this was done due to the popularity of the Bullet Club. The application was eventually abandoned by WWE. In August 2015, after Devitt joined WWE as "Finn BÃÆ'¡lor", WWE released the "BÃÆ'¡lor Club" merchandise playing at the Bullet Club. WWE recognizes the Bullet Club in the first week of January 2016, when discussing rumors about stable members joining promotion, ahead of A.J. Debut style at WWE as a Royal Rumble 2016 contestant. In April 2016, former Club Bullet Club team Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows made their debut for WWE, with their NJPW background again acknowledged by the company, eventually forming "The Club" with Styles. On September 25, 2017, the Bullet Club appeared outside of the WWE's Raw show in Ontario, California, spoofing a segment from 1998 where D-Generation X "stormed" WCW Nitro . After that, WWE sends a stable and stop letter, claiming that they use the company's intellectual property, especially the "Too Sweet" hand motion, which leads to merchandise displaying gestures pulled from the store. WWE writer Jimmy Jacobs was issued by the company to post photos on Instagram with members of the Bullet Club, taken during a mock invasion.
NWo's founding member Kevin Nash praised Bullet Club as a more athletic version of the nWo, stating that there is mutual respect between the two stables, and informally skipping the torch from its enclosure to the Bullet Club. Jeff Jarrett, who has represented the Bullet Club and nWo, has mentioned the in-ring ability as the main difference between the two horse stables, stating "Bullet Club is beyond the bell chart for a more talented bell". The former NJPW wrestler, Matt Bloom, stated that the popularity of Bullet Club is helping promotion to become global.
The Bullet Club game often involves excessive external disturbances, ref bumps and other tactics, which are more common in American professional wrestling and rarely seen in Japanese puroresu, even in games involving other malicious acts. This ignorance of Japanese traditions and culture makes it stable as a peak act. The Bullet Club has garnered a huge amount of popularity worldwide, especially among American professional wrestling fans. In March 2016, the original stable "Bone Soldier" shirt was the bestseller at Pro Wrestling Tees store, beating all independent wrestlers and WWE veterans affiliated with the site. In 2017, Bullet Club shirts are available at Hot Topic stores, where they are also big sellers, which should have sold 100,000 copies in the first three months. Hot Topic executives are rumored to have known about the Bullet Club after seeing a large number of stable shirts worn by fans at WWE's WrestleMania 33. WWE then had to "awkwardly" tell the executives that the shirts were not theirs. The popularity of Bullet Club in the United States has caused stable members to work as fan favorites at events held in the country.
Since the Bullet Club is owned by NJPW, all stable joining wrestlers, including those who have joined the Ring of Honor (ROH) event, must be approved by the NJPW Gedo borrower.

History
Formation(2013)
On February 3, 2013, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Prince Devitt pinned IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi in a tag team match, in which he and Karl Anderson faced long-time Clayago co-workers Tag Yus and partner partner Clay 55. This led to the match between Devitt and Tanahashi on March 3rd at NJPW's 41st anniversary. Although no male title is at stake in the match, Tanahashi vows to unleash the IWGP Heavyweight Championship if Devitt wins. After defeating Devitt, Tanahashi went to help his opponent, but was encouraged by the disappointing Junior Class Weight Champion. A few weeks later, Devitt begins to portray a more arrogant and evil personality, regularly disrespecting both spouses and opponents, with the exception of Ryusuke Taguchi, whom he attempts to go along with his new attitude. However, this changed on April 7th in the Invasion of Pay-per-view attack, when Devitt activated Taguchi, after both failed to reclaim the IWGP Junior Class Tag Weight Championship from Time Splitters (Alex Shelley and Kushida). During the attack, Devitt is assisted by the returning King Fale, who attacks not only Taguchi, but also Shelley, Kushida and Captain of New Japan, which Devitt later unmasked. After the attack, Devitt took the microphone, introducing Fale as his new "bouncer", giving him the new name "The Underboss" Bad Luck Fale and calling himself "Real Rock 'n' Rolla". At the following pay-per-view, Wrestling Dontaku 2013 on May 3rd, Devitt and Fale join for the first time beating Taguchi and Captain New Japan in a tag team match. Later in the event, Devitt and Fale entered the ring to attack former IWGP heavyweight champion Hiroshi Tanahashi, after he defeated Karl Anderson in a single game. Anderson first went to stop Devitt and Fale, but then turned on Tanahashi, hit him with Gun Stun . When the three men continue their attacks on Tanahashi, they also join Tama Tonga, with whom Anderson has formed a partnership over the past two weeks. In a post-match interview, the four men announced the creation of an all-out gaijin ginjin called the "Bullet Club".
Prince Devitt's Leadership (2013-2014)
The four members of the Bullet Club cultivated their first match together on May 22, when they defeated New Captain of Japan, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Manabu Nakanishi and Ryusuke Taguchi in a match of eight tag team players. Two days later, Devitt entered the 2013 Best of the Super Juniors tournament, where he won his block with a clean record of eight wins and zero losses, progressing to the knockout stage on June 9, where he first defeated Kenny Omega in the semis and then Alex Shelley in the final to win the tournament, after which he went on to challenge Hiroshi Tanahashi. Longtime tag team partner Devit, Ryusuke Taguchi initially earned a place in the semifinals of the tournament, but a legitimate hip injury forced him to retreat. During a press conference the following day, Devitt also mentioned the move to the heavyweight division, which aims to become the first wrestler to hold IWGP Junior Heavyweight and IWGP Heavyweight Championships simultaneously. On June 22 at Dominion 6.22, Devitt defeated Tanahashi, again following the annoyance of the rest of the Bullet Club, to get his first shot at the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Defending champion Kazuchika Okada accepted the Devitt challenge for the title later in the event on condition that he first defended the IWGP Junior High School Heavyweight Championship against Chaos's stablemata gedo. The Bullet Club dispute with Tanahashi continues on July 5th pay-per-view Kizuna Road 2013, where Tama Tonga and visiting Mexican wrestler Terrible lost the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) World Tag Team Championship to Tanahashi and Jyushin Thunder Liger. Terrible work also the rest of his two week NJPW tour as a member of the Bullet Club. After successfully defending the IWGP Young Heavyweight Championship against Gedo, Devitt received his match for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship on July 20, but was defeated by Okada, despite disruptions from other Bullet Club. From August 1 to 11, both Devitt and Anderson take part in the 2013 G1 Climax, wrestling in separate round-robin blocks. During the tournament, Devitt won a great victory, though through outside interference, over governing IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada and former champions Hiroshi Tanahashi, Satoshi Kojima and Togi Makabe, but failed to advance from the block. Meanwhile, Anderson entered the final day with a chance to reach the final, but a defeat against Tetsuya Naito got rid of him from the tournament. On September 5, Rey Bucanero, another CMLL wrestler, embarked on a NJPW tour working as a member of the Bullet Club. On September 14, the rest of the Bullet Club helped Bucanero and Tama Tonga defeat Hiroshi Tanahashi and Jyushin Thunder Liger for the CMLL World Tag Championship. The rivalry between Devitt and Tanahashi culminated in Lumberjack Deathmatch on September 29th at Destruction, where Tanahashi won.
On October 11, Tonga and Bucanero returned to CMLL, where they formed "Bullet Club Latinoamerica" with CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Terrible and female wrestler and manager La Comandante. However, a week later, Tonga and Bucanero were stripped of the CMLL World Tag Team Championship, when they were unable to defend the title against La MÃÆ'¨scara and Rush as Bucanero was sidelined with injuries. On October 25, the American tag team The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) made their NJPW debut as the newest member of Bullet Club by entering the Super Jr. Tag Tournament. 2013. In early November, The Young Bucks first beat Forever Hooligans (Alex Koslov and Rocky Romero) in the final to win the tournament, and then Suzuki-gun (Taichi and Taka Michinoku) to become IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. On November 11th, NJPW announces the participating teams in the Tag World League 2013. In the tournament, the Bullet Club will be represented by two teams in a separate block; Devitt and Fale in blocks A and Anderson and American Doc Gallows who debuted on block B. On December 7, the two teams entered the final day of the round-robin tournament with the chance to advance to the semi-finals. Anderson and Gallows won their blocks with a record of four wins and two defeats by defeating the NWA World Tag Team Champions of The IronGodz (Jax Dane and Rob Conway), while Devitt and Fale were eliminated with three wins and three defeats, after losing to Captain New Japan and Hiroshi Tanahashi, who has lost all the other matches in the tournament. The next day, Anderson and Gallows first beat Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma in the semi-finals and then Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Satoshi Kojima in the final to win the tournament. This led to a match on 4 January 2014, at Wrestle Kingdom 8, where they defeated K.E.S. (Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Lance Archer) to win the Tag Team IWGP Championship. During the same event, Devitt lost the IWGP Youth Heavyweight Championship to Ibushi Town, ending his reign for fourteen months.
The New Beginning Tour in February featured Bullet Club defending both their tag team championship and re-igniting the rivalry between Devitt and his former colleague Ryusuke Taguchi, who returned from injury eight months. Devitt dominated his meeting with Taguchi for most of the tour, including pinning him in an eight-player team match back on February 2, but at the end of the tour, The New Beginning in Osaka, Taguchi pinned his former comrade on the tag team match, where he teamed up with Togi Makabe and Devitt with Fale. In March, Bad Luck Fale made it to the 2014 New Japan Cup final, but was defeated there by Shinsuke Nakamura. When the one-year anniversary of the outbreak of Apollo 55 approached, the competition between Devitt and Taguchi increased, causing Taguchi to challenge his rival to the Loser Leaves Town game. The provisions, however, were never made official for their April 6th Invasion Attack 2014 match. During the game, Devitt got into a fight with The Young Bucks, after both of them interfered in the game even though he did not do that. This led to The Young Bucks turning on Devitt, who responded by diving to his Bullet Club stablemates. After Taguchi defeats Devitt, the two men shake hands, ending their rivalry with each other and associate Devitt with Bullet Club. Devitt's resignation from NJPW was announced the following day.
A.J. Leadership style (2014-2016)
Then in the Invasion of Invasion 2014, the American wrestler A.J. Styles made his debut as the latest member of Bullet Club, attacking IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada. Styles, who knows Okada from their days working together for the promotion of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), claims that Okada is still the same "rookie" he knows in the TNA and confirms himself as the next challenger to his title. After the 2014 Invasion of Attacks, with Styles still working full schedule on independent American circuits and just ordering to work larger NJPW shows, Anderson is positioned as the new leader of the Bullet Club. However, Styles is regarded as the leader of the ROH Bullet Club version, a role that was also awarded to him by NJPW at the end of 2015. However, the style maintains that he has never been a leader, according to him, the group "[no] follows anyone". On May 3rd at Wrestling Dontaku 2014, Styles defeated Okada to become the new Heavyweight IWGP Champion, when Yujiro Takahashi activated Okada and Chaos stable and jumped to the Bullet Club, becoming his first Japanese member. With the Bullet Club clinching the top of the NJPW title, while also holding both tag team titles, and adding new members, this is billed as a "rebirth" for the stable, celebrating its one year anniversary during the event.
Later that month, the Bullet Club participated in a NJPW tour in North America, produced in collaboration with the Spirit. The Young Bucks, who entered the tour as both IWGP Junior Heavyweight and ROH World Tag Team Champions, lost their last title for reDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) on May 17, ending their two-month rule in their first defense. Meanwhile, their seven-month government as the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion ended on June 21 at Dominion 6.21, where they were defeated by Time Splitters in their sixth defense. Later on the same event, Bad Luck Fale defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to become the new Intercontinental IWGP Champion. On June 29, Yujiro Takahashi brought another title to the Bullet Club, when he defeated Tomohiro Ishii with help from his stablemates for the NEVER Openweight Championship. With that win, the Bullet Club has won every title at NJPW, now simultaneously holding all four heavyweight titles.
From July 21 to August 8, five members of the Bullet Club took part in the 2014 G1 Climax with Fale and Gallows wrestling in blocks A and Anderson, Styles and Takahashi in block B. The five failed to advance from their blocks with Fale finishing third and Gallows ninth on the block their eleven and second finishing Styles, Anderson third and Takahashi tied sixth in their block. The force was eliminated due to losing the champion blocks of Okada in their head-to-head match. On August 10, Global Force Wrestling (GFW) founder Jeff Jarrett joined the Bullet Club, attacking Hiroshi Tanahashi after he defeated Styles in a non-title match. On September 21st at Destruction in Kobe, Fale lost the IWGP Intercontinental Championship back to Shinsuke Nakamura in his first defense. Bullet Club lost two sole titles remaining on October 13 at the King of Pro-Wrestling with Takahashi losing the NEVER Openweight Championship back to Tomohiro Ishii in defense of his second title while in the main event Styles lost the IWGP Heavyweight Championship to Hiroshi Tanahashi in his third defense, after outside interference Jeff Jarrett was stopped by the returning Yoshitatsu.
On November 8th at Power Struggle, Kenny Omega, who had joined NJPW at the beginning of the month, became the newest member of Bullet Club, challenging Ryusuke Taguchi to a match for IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. Omega had previously rejected the idea of joining the Bullet Club because he did not consider himself gaijin after six years living in Japan, but now claims he has lied and just wants money and titles. Refusing to speak Japanese despite being fluent in his language, Omega dubbed himself "The Cleaner" with the idea that he was there to "cleanse" the junior heavyweight division. From November 22 to December 5, three Bullet Club teams participate in the Tag World League 2014; Anderson and Gallows and Styles and Takahashi in blocks A and Fale and Tonga on block B. Anderson and Gallows won their blocks with a record of five wins and two losses while Styles and Takahashi finished closing with four wins and three defeats. Style and Takahashi won over the IWGP Tag Team Champions ruling in a head-to-head match between the Bullet Club teams, but lagged behind them in the final standings as they lost to Okada and Yoshi-Hashi on the final day. Meanwhile, Fale and Tonga finished at the bottom of their block with a record of three wins and four defeats. On December 7th, Anderson and Gallows were defeated in the final tournament by Hirooki Goto and Katsuyori Shibata.
On January 4, 2015, at Wrestle Kingdom 9, Omega, in his first game as a Bullet Club member, defeated Ryusuke Taguchi to become the new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, while Anderson and Gallows lost the IWGP Tag Team Championship to Goto and Shibata, ending the government for one year in their seventh defense. The next day, Cody Hall, the son of founding member of nWo Scott Hall, joined the Bullet Club as a stable private "youngster" with Anderson stating that he should earn his position as a full member. Later that month, NJPW re-launched the Latin America Bullet Club in time for the Fantastica Mania 2015 tour, produced by NJPW and CMLL. On January 18th, during the fifth day of Fantastica Mania 2015 , CMLL wrestler Mephisto joined the Bullet Club, before successfully defending Mexico's National Lightweight National Heavyweight Championship against Stuka Jr.. On February 11th at The New Beginning in Osaka, The Young Bucks regained the IWGP Junior Classy Heavy Tag Championship by defeating defending rehab champion and Time Splitters in a three-way match. Later the same event, Anderson and Gallows returned IWGP Tag Team Championships from Goto and Shibata, while in the main event A.J. Styles beat Hiroshi Tanahashi to also bring IWGP Heavyweight Championship back to Bullet Club. Both team championship Bullet Club tags ended in defense of their first title on April 5th in the 2015 Invasion Attack with The Young Bucks defeated by Roppongi Vice (Beretta and Rocky Romero) and Anderson and Gallows by the ROH tag team The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Michael Bennett ).
The Young Bucks regained the title on 3 May at Wrestling Dontaku 2015 in a three-way match with Roppongi Vice and reDRagon. Also during the event, the Bullet Club was involved in the first NJPW show to feature female wrestlers in over twelve years, in which Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows and his wife Amber Gallows were defeated by Maria Kanellis, Matt Taven, and Michael Bennett in six people. match the intergender tag team. Leadership Kenny Omega (2016-2018)
On January 4, 2016, at Wrestle Kingdom 10, the Bullet Club was involved in five championship games. Initially, The Young Bucks beat reDRagon, Roppongi Vice and teams Matt Sydal and Ricochet to regain the IWGP Junior Heavy Class Tag Championship. In the following matches, Fale, Takahashi and Tonga were defeated by Toru Yano and ROH team brides The Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) in a match to determine the best Team 6-Man Team Pioneer who never won. This was followed by two title matches, where the Bullet Club lost their two championships with Omega losing the IWGP Youth Heavyweight Championship back to Kushida and Anderson and Gallows lost the IWGP Team Tag Championship to Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma. In the final Bullet Club title game at the event, Styles failed to challenge Shinsuke Nakamura for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. A few hours after the incident, it was reported that Anderson, Gallows, and Styles gave notice to NJPW and would abandon promotion for WWE. The next day, the rest of the Bullet Club lit Styles and kicked him out of the group with Omega taking over the leadership. Omega also announced his graduation from the junior heavyweight division, stating that he does not want a rematch with Kushida, but a match with Nakamura for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.
In the aftermath of Omega taking over the leadership of Bullet Club, he and The Young Bucks formed their own subgroup inside the cage, called "The Elite". Omega and The Young Bucks came up with the idea for The Elite themselves, feeling the need to create something new after being forced by NJPW into the Bullet Club and what Omega calls "Too Sweet", "Sucking" a parody of nWo. Omega states that he and The Young Bucks are The Elite, but are accepted if NJPW keeps calling them Bullet Club "in brackets" because the cage is their "cash cow". He explains the name change by stating that after Anderson, Gallows and Styles depart from NJPW, "Bullet Club [not] so much Bullet Club anymore", adding that the stable "has all sorts of wrestlers coming and going. which is horrible, "but that" there is a place you can go to watch the most ridiculous and entertaining things in pro wrestling, and it's The Elite ". Omega then added his opinion that Anderson's departure, Gallows and Styles had "eased" the Bullet Club ranks, which is why he wanted to push The Elite to the surface, claiming that when people say that "the Bullet Club has done some really cool" they always mean him and The Young Bucks and not the other members of the group.

The following day, NJPW announced that the latest Bullet Club member, "Bone Soldier", will make its debut on October 8th. After that, Omega takes hiatus from NJPW to "reassess [his] future". Upon returning on February 26, a new storyline involving tension between Omega and Cole begins, with The Young Bucks caught in the middle. On February 11, Frankie Kazarian joined the Bullet Club, igniting the old tag team partner Christopher Daniels on the Ring of Honor Wrestling recording. On March 4th, The Young Bucks lost the World Tag Championship ROH to The Hardys (Broken Matt and Brother Nero). On March 10th at the ROH's 15th Birthday Celebration, Kazarian revives Adam Cole and the Bullet Club, revealing his tenure just a ruse to help Christopher Daniels become the new World Champion of the Spirit. The next day, Cole, disappointed with The Young Bucks for not having his back, tried to fire them from the Bullet Club, but both responded by stating that he could not fire them because Omega, not Cole, was a stable leader. Despite disputes among Superkliq members, Cole remains a member of the Bullet Club. On April 1st at Supercard of Honor XI, The Young Bucks regains the World Tag Championship SPIRIT from The Hardys in a ladder match. On May 12, during the third night of NJPW and the ROH produced with War of the Worlds tour, Omega fired Cole from the Bullet Club and gave his place at home to the ROH of the World Television Champion Marty Scurll. In the months after Wrestle Kingdom 11, Omega looked for another opportunity at the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, but his plans to earn one through the New Japan Cup of 2017 were derailed, when he was eliminated in his first round match by Tomohiro Ishii. After defeating Ishii in a rematch on May 3 at Wrestling Dontaku 2017, Omega was nominated by Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship re-match at Dominion 6.11 at Osaka-jo Hall. On June 11th at Dominion 6.11 at Osaka-jo Hall, The Young Bucks beat Vice Roppongi to win the IWGP Junior High School Heavyweight Charge Championship for the sixth time. Then at the same event, Guerrillas of Destiny defeated War Machine (Hanson and Raymond Rowe) to win the IWGP Tag Team Championship for the third time. In the main event of the event, Omega and Okada wrestled into an exciting 60 minute deadline for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. The match also started the storyline, where Omega and Cody started having problems with each other with Cody who wanted to give in to Omega, insisting he was too badly hurt. On June 23rd at Best in the World, Cody beat Christopher Daniels to bring the ROH World Championship back to the Bullet Club. On July 1st, on the first night of G1 Special in the USA, Guerrillas of Destiny lost the IWGP Tag Team Championship back to War Machine in a game that was not disqualified. In the show's main event, Cody failed to challenge Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. During the game, Omega, playing from what happens in Dominion, walks out, wants to surrender to Cody, which causes Cody to face him after the show. The next day, Omega beat Tomohiro Ishii in the final of the eight-man tournament to become the first winner of the IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion.
Later that month, three members of Bullet Club participated in Gima Climax 2017; Fale in blocks A and Omega and Tonga on block B. Omega won the block and advanced to the final of the tournament with a record of seven wins and two defeats by beating IWGP Heavyweight Champion Okada in their third game against each other on 12 August. Meanwhile, Fale finished third in the block with a record of six wins and three defeats and Tonga finished in the middle of the block with four wins and five defeats. During a head-to-head match between Omega and Tonga, won by the first, tensions mounted between the two with Tonga questioning Omega's leadership of the Bullet Club due to his relationship with The Elite. On August 13th, The Young Bucks lost the IWGP Junior Class Weight Tag Championship to Funky Future (Ricochet and Ryusuke Taguchi). Later on the same day, Omega was defeated in the 2015 Gima Climax final by Tetsuya Naito. On August 20th at War of the Worlds UK: Edinburgh, Page and The Young Bucks, formed another Bullet Club sub-group named "The Hung Bucks", defeating Dalton Castle and Boys for the World Championship ROH Six-Man Tag Team, meaning The Bullet Club now holds three of the four ROH titles. The stable then calls "Bullet Club Rules", which allows Cody, Omega and Scurll to also retain the title. On September 6, it was announced that Tonga and Loa's younger sister, NJPW lion Leo Tonga, joined the Bullet Club, replacing Omega on the upcoming tour because she suffered a knee injury. On September 22nd at Death Before Dishonor XV, The Young Bucks lost the World Tag Championship ROH to the City Motor Machine Rifle. On November 5th at Power Struggle, Scurll defeated Will Ospreay to bring the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship back to the Bullet Club. On Nov. 17, actor Stephen Amell, who has been friends with Cody when they worked together at WWE, joined the Bullet Club, grappling with his first match as a member on the event of the Spirit later on the same day. The following month, Guerrillas of Destiny made it to the second World Tag League finals in a row by winning their blocks in the 2017 tournament with a record of five wins and two defeats. On December 11, they were beaten in the final of the tournament by Los Ingobernables de Japon (Evil and Sanada). Four days later in Final Battle ROH, Cody lost the ROH World Championship to Dalton Castle. On December 17th, Fale and Guerrillas of Destiny beat Bushi, Evil and Sanada to become a Team 6-Man Team Champion that is NEVER NEW.
