The Argentine Cinematography Art Academy and Science Award are awarded by the Argentine Cinematography Art Academy and Science (Spanish: Academy de las Artes y Ciencias CinematogrÃÆ'¡ficas de la Argentina ) to honor the achievements in Argentine cinema by an Argentine based filmmaker.
The award, known as Premios Sur, is awarded annually by the Academy, whose members include Argentine actors, film directors, producers and film technicians.
There were eighteen awards given and, in February 2007, 220 members in the association voted on the award.
To escape this film must be removed from 1 October to 30 September in Argentina.
