The 2013-14 (South) Santiago Beach League season is the second and third tier competition in the southern island of Santiago, Cape Verde. The winner qualifies for the 2014 Cape Verdean Football Championship. It starts on November 15, 2013 and finishes on March 30, 2014. The tournament is hosted by the Santiago Santiago Regional Association (Associa̮'̤̤̈ o o Regional de Futebol de Santiago Sul, ARFSS). Sporting Praia won the 8th title and finished with 44 points. The next championship for Sporting is in 2017.

Overview
Sporting Praia is the team that defends the title. A total of 21 clubs participated in the competition, 10 in the Premier Division and 11 in the Second Division. A total of 233 goals scored, 8 goals scored in two promotional matches, the combined total is 241.
Tchadense were relegated and spent the next two seasons in the Second Division while Garridos, second division champion promoted and spent the next three seasons in the Premier Division.
The biggest victories are two games with 5 goals, Sporting Praia 5-0 VitÃÆ'ória (2 March) and Tchadense 0-5 Desportivo da Praia (16 March).
The first six weeks Desportivo has taken the lead, Sporting took it for the rest of the season.
Both Desportivo and Travadores scored the most goals in 37, Sporting second with 36 and VitÃÆ'òria scored at least 12, the club that scored the least to occupy the 5th position. Varanda conceded the most goals by 37, the second Tchadense with 24 and VitÃÆ'òria with 32, the most conceded club in fifth.
Sporting's unbeaten 28-game winning streak that begins on February 18, 2012 ends after losing Travadores which is 0-1 on 16 November. The record of 28 consecutive unbeaten runs is a record until March 5, 2017 to be shared, it has been surpassed on March 10, 2017 and is now the club's second record.
No competition in the second week of December due to regional cup competitions.
The season marked DÃÆ'ário for his career of eleven seasons with Sporting Praia and then will retire.
