Histori
On March 6, 1995, Lewisville ISD broke out at a junior high school of two $ 32 million. Aimed at reducing pressure from the Marcus and Lewisville High Schools, plans are made for a 280,000 square foot (26,000 m 2 ) campus, including two gymnasiums, cafes, auditoriums, ballads, soccer fields, tennis courts, and three parking spaces. To accommodate additional students, the previously unplanned wings contain 45 additional classrooms completed on time for the 2000-2001 school year.
108 staff members, led by headmaster Norman Reuther, taught the first student body of 986 freshmen and a second year. The school was recognized as an example in the year of the charter. In the second year of school, university sports are introduced and the student body grows to include grades of nine to eleven.
In 2000, Kansas State University threatened legal action against FMHS for alleged copyright infringement on the Jaguar logo. Rather than paying a license fee to KSU, as some schools in Texas are doing, school principal Norman Reuther orders a logo redesign, to avoid 8% commission on merchandise.
In August 2001, Reuther welcomed the first senior class of the school; the student body grew to more than 2,400 students. In 2013, the school started a project to build a new campus that is only for the 9th graders. The 2018 class is the first class to use the new student center.
Principal Norman Reuther left FMHS at the end of 2003; Principal assistant Jack Clark then took over the position of the principal. Under his leadership, school enrollment continues to grow ( view graphics, right ). In the spring of 2007, Clark announced his resignation. Paul Moon was elected to head the school.
In January 2008, Moon announced that FMHS will be expanding to add a third gym and a second band room, which will be completed in May 2009.
In the spring of 2008, LISD started randomized drug testing for all high school students in extracurricular and co-curricular groups; 75 weekly random students from FMHS were tested that spring, and 48 students per week were tested for the 2008-09 school year.
In May 2011, it was announced that Paul Moon would retire and continue his leadership to Sonya Lail.
In 2007, FMHS graduates earned over ten million dollars in scholarships, exceeding $ 14,000 per person. The 2008 graduation class collects about $ 15.5 million in scholarship, exceeding the $ 22,000 average per graduate.

The signs, given to students by cheerleaders, are meant to read "Navy, Silver, White" (school colors) and "Jaguar Power" (referring to their mascot). The incident sparked controversy on social networks, and was covered by local and national media. The investigation into the matter was conducted by the Lewisville Independent School District. On February 20, 2015, Lewisville Independent School District released a statement confirming that the signs had been deliberate, and stated that, together with the local police department, disciplinary action had been taken.
