History
The club was formed in 1946 under the official English name of its parent company Toyoda Automatic Loom Works and co-founded the original Japan Soccer League in 1965. In the first three seasons the club's club fought hard. and was relegated in 1967 when the series lost promotion/degradation to neighbors as well as JSL co-founder Nagoya Mutual Bank, who had been relegated the previous year and wanted to return to the top division again. Thus, Toyota ALW takes place in the Regional League T? Kai.
In 1972 the club was given a second chance in the national league star by co-founding the new JSL Division II, but finished in the bottom spot and saved from relegation by the fact that JSL is expanding to increase the size of the First Division to 10. The next season they stumble again despite being on 9th position and lost in another promotion/degradation series, this time to Hitachi Ibaraki, the younger sister and the de facto reserve club to the main Hitachi club at the time based in Tokyo. The 1972 season was also shared with neighbor and sister club Toyota Motors, which was promoted as champion and eventually known as J. Nagoya Grampus powerhouse.
Since then Toyoda ALW's club has been back and forth between T'kai Regional League and Aichi Prefecture League, with their last assignment coming from promotion to the 2nd Division player in 2003 and ending with relegation to the prefect of the division in 2005.
