" Lollipop " is a song by Big Bang and 2NE1, made to promote mobile phones by LG Cyon. This 1958 hit interpolation of "Lollipop" was written by Julius Dixson and Beverly Ross. The song reached the top spot on various online charts, including 4 weeks # 1 on the M.Net music portal. "Lollipop" was used for the unofficial debut of 2NE1, as it did not function as their debut single. DJ Wreckx meremix song for Cyon Bboy Championships. The song sold over 3 million digital downloads and became a big hit in South Korea, topping the Cyworld charts in April 2009.

2NE1 continued with their official debut single Fire .

The song was used for LG Cyon phones. It maps number one on offline and online charts in Korea. It was not done on TV shows except YG's 2010 Tour. "Fire" is marked as the official debut of 2NE1.

Music video

This video was filmed in the first week of March 2009. The video aired on March 28, 2009. The video shows the two groups dancing together in a rainbow and multi-colored. The behind-the-scenes version was aired a few weeks later on May 2, 2009. The video was directed by Hyun Young-seong. On May 15th, YG Entertainment's official YouTube uploaded the full music video.

The original video shows 2NE1 singing in front of the white screen for the intro, then introducing BIGBANG and 2NE1 together in the dressing room. Each was introduced in solo action with the following rooms:

• T.O.P in red or yellow space
• G-Dragon in the pink room or blue
• Dara in the purple room
• CL in purple or green space
• Minzy in the pink room (later edited into red space, too)
• Taeyang in a blue or purple room
• Seungri in the yellow or red room, wearing glasses
• Daesung in the pink room
• Bombs in pink room (later edited into blue space, too)

An alternate version is then created which does not show a bit of 2NE1 in front of a white screen. Instead, it was replaced with Dara in the blue room, while she did the poem. Another scene changed to include promotion for LG CYON phones.
