The Double Down Live Tour is a concert tour by rock band ZZ Top. Launched to support their newly released DVD Double Down Live , the concert tour was conducted at the casino and arena from 8 November to 1 December 2009. Like the previous tour, the simple stage sets and LED lights were used as background. Band members Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill wore black biker jackets, along with similar hats and shoes. The Double Down Tour consists of two legs and 14 shows.

Set design and promotion
The stage set includes a truck exhaust pipe for microphone stands, which are built with electroluminescent lamps. A Soft-LED video curtain from Main Light Industries was used to display various images from the band's early years and music videos.
ZZ Top announced their tour on October 2, 2009 through the band's official website. The tour only featured four shows across Canada, although they will tour ten additional cities. Tickets go on sale for the dates announced a few days after the tour announcement, and priced an average of $ 85. Prior to the start of the tour, Eagle Vision released the DVD Double Down Live . The performances of their El Camino Ocho tour were previously portrayed on DVD.

Of the 14 performances shown, each has the same set list, with about 21 songs featured. The concert usually starts with the techno music played through the PA system, where the band will run on stage and start the show.
Primary set
The opening song for each concert is "Got Me Under Pressure," followed by "Waitin 'for the Bus," "Jesus Just Left Chicago," "Pincushion" and "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide." They did covers including Willie Brown's "Future Blues" and Jimi Hendrix "Foxy Lady." "Cheap Eyewear" and "Mexican Blackbird" are also played. "My Head's in Mississippi" is shown as a trailer before leading to "I Need You Tonight." The other songs they played were "Party on the Patio," "Just Got Paid," "Gimme All Your Lovin," "Sharp Dressed Man," and "Legs."
Encores
Encore always features "Boogie Snake Tube," "La Grange," and "Tush." "La Grange" will include a medley of songs "Sloppy Drunk Blues" and "Bar-B-Q."
